Manifesto
- School Safety Initiative
·
Teachers cannot teach and students cannot learn in an
environment of crime, violence, intimidation and fear;
· Schools choose their anti-violence program;
· Parents choose their children's schools. If a school
is unsafe,
parents will move their children to a school where safety
is of
primary importance;
· To create the safe haven the school ought to be,
the school
should put the emphasis on the safety-process, not the solutions;
· There is no one size-fits-all-solution for school
safety. The ideal
violence prevention-policy will vary with each school, district
and country;
· It is of great importance to prevent crimes from
happening
instead of fabricating excuses and pretending (and hoping)
it will not happen;
